Foster a Horse

Due to zoning restrictions, Shilo's Inn is only able to support a limited number of horses on our premises at any given time. These horses are in various stages of recovery, and there are other horses still awaiting rescue in the auction yards and government holding pens, as well as from backyard abandonment and abuse. By fostering horses in our care, you open a space in our barn for one of these desperate animals.

Fostering a horse obligates that you take the animal onto your own property and care for it, using funds from Shilo's Inn, until a permanent and loving home is found. Caring for a fostered horse, with our financial support, is strictly a volunteer effort, so we can't thank you enough for your generosity.

We'd love to hear from you! Every fostered horse makes room for an equine currently in desperate straits. You not only help us find a home for a recovered horse but allow us to rescue another!
