Are you and your horse(s) on your way somewhere and need a place to rest? Or perhaps you're interested in retiring a horse for any reason? For a tax-deductible donation, Shilo's Inn offers temporary lay-up and retirement services that include shelter, pasture, round-the-clock care, a variety of grains and grass hays, and lots of love and attention. Contact us for details and to make a reservation in our barn.

We also offer room for injured horses in need of recovery, horses who require daily or hourly vet care, and horses on their way from desperate straits to an equine sanctuary. Shilo himself was laid up for nearly a year with a sprained tendon sheath on his right-hind, an injury veterinarians claimed he would never heal from. Because of our patient care, Shilo was not only declared sound again, but went on to win First-Place ribbons in the dressage ring.
